Late again. I’m feeling too lazy to write something original. Remember, these weekly questions are found at the Friday Five site.
- Name five things in your refrigerator.
Ground coffee. Apples. Milk. Bologna. Mustard and mayonnaise. - Name five things in your freezer.
Meat; all meat goes into the freezer unless I’m going to use it immediately. Bagels and rye bread; ditto. Four or five containers of ice cream; I love my ice cream. Chanukah candles; I bought extra last year. Paper towels and napkins; always store them in the freezer if there’s extra space because it saves energy. - Name five things under your kitchen sink.
Dishwashing liquid. Fantastik®. S.O.S. pads. Extra pans. And my iron. - Name five things around your computer.
My computer is in my bedroom, the only place guaranteed smoke-free. Currently on the computer desk itself are (1) a nail file and (2) foot lotion. (3) A pile of bills to be paid on-line. (4) Extra diskettes. (5) A pen to sign letters. - Name five things in your medicine cabinet
What medicine cabinet? I have never kept a traditional medicine cabinet. There are some open shelves in the bathroom on which we put lotions, shampoos, rubbing alcohol.
Medications are kept in a kitchen cabinet, out of the reach of small children. They are also near the spoons and drinking glasses that might be needed. Besides Husband’s five prescriptions and my three? (And U.D.’s box full of prescriptions.) Vitamins, herbs and minerals. Aspirin for Husband. Acetaminophen for me, because it’s the only over-the-counter painkiller I can take. Echinacea for colds. Antihistamines as needed. Cough drops. The newest addition is glucosamine mixture for my newly diagnosed arthritis. Cheers!
