- What drinking water do you prefer – tap, bottle, purifier, etc.?
Our tap water isn’t bad, except when Husband splashes soap up into the spout. Usually I drink filtered water, just in case. - What are your favorite flavor of chips?
Best potato chips ever are Charles chips, unsalted. Unfortunately, potato chips are not the best thing for me any more, and I’ve been eating more corn products, like tortilla chips. Unflavored, please. Guacamole or artichoke sauce make good accompaniment. - Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most?
I don’t cook that much any more – I live with a vegetarian and a fussy old man. I used to be known as a good and versatile cook. In several languages.
M.D. still remembers cake, with frosting, made from scratch. - How do you have your eggs?
Fried, scrambled, poached, deviled. Best, I think, is my egg salad – except that it’s too easy to devour more than two eggs that way. - Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out?
It may have been my son-in-law, when he made breakfast – except that I had to teach him how to scramble eggs. (You can teach a kid to do that – I’ve been doing it since I was seven.) Breakfast was fine.
Or it might have been U.D., who fixed me nachos for supper one night – I just don’t remember when. That was good.
