September 11, Once More
Fri., September 13, 08:04 AM
Wednesday, September 11, was a beautiful day this year, bright and extraordinarily clear, just as it was a year ago. Nevertheless, our area experienced a major storm, high winds from Hurricane Gustav. Gustav was considered a “freak” storm, as it had not originated in the tropics. It went out to sea, and it was not expected to have much impact on land. The heavy winds made highway driving difficult for me, and I was just thankful that none of the falling branches it me.
Then yesterday I received this via e-mail. It's a beautiful thought I’d like to share with you.
I just had to share this with you as it sent me reeling, and then gave me the most uplifting feeling! For those of you outside NY, it was very warm (about 85 degrees) yet, extremely windy yesterday. In fact, on the news, they gave a "wind alert," whatever that means. I sat outside and the strong breeze felt almost cleansing.
In speaking with my yoga teacher, she said in India they believe the wind is really a soul, reaching us from Heaven. Could it be that those almost 3,000 souls touched down with us yesterday? It felt like I was in another dimension when she told me. Driving home with the car windows open, the wind exerted an incredible force on the car. . .It was the most other-worldly feeling I have ever felt - and an awesome one!
I am carrying all those souls with me today.
Peace and love!
