Life Goes On...
Thu., April 27, 12:24 PM
Two absolutely “gawjus” days in a row. I ran errands by myself, and it was like an omen. The bank was empty. There wasn’t much traffic, except a little construction by the new Stop & Shop that will open soon, and that’s good. I will be able to do grocery shopping just a couple of miles from home. I like to ride around and look at new projects that the current mayor said were never going to happen. That’s local politics; life goes on, regardless of who’s in office.
My immediate goal was to walk around Sam’s a little. I didn’t have a large list; I bought less than $20 worth. When I got back, it was still warm enough outside to spend some time on the yard. Not much, but I got the exercise. I decided to shower after I came home, because I still get achy after I’ve been walking. A little hot water therapy can defer the need for Tylenol.
I got a strange message the other night from someone who accused me – not of stalking, but of hiring someone else to stalk him. So he disses me twice: he doesn’t even think I’m smart enough to run a Google search!
Lemme tell ya about life on the internet. If you put yourself out there, you can be found. If you go into public forums, you can be found. If other people link to you, you can be found. Heck, my readers – the few that there are – will click on your page; I hit the wrong buttons all the time. If you don’t want to be found, don’t come here.
Y’know, I’m an honest person. I don’t cheat or steal. I pay my bills. The closest I get to being underhanded is that, at four feet eleven, I’m usually looking upward. So I have no reason to hide.
If you’ve visited me inadvertently, Hi! If you think I’m interesting enough to stay, thank you. If you don’t like this page, by all means close the window; you won’t bruise my ego. And thank you again.
Stalking indeed!
