Before I begin, let me say a word about upgrades. My mentors -- bless them -- have upgraded to more efficient servers as well as a newer version of Movable Type. I can't tell if Internet Explorer version 7, is affecting the appearance too. Seems as if we're not quite ready for beta testing.
I know that you've had some trouble posting comments. Strangely enough, even though they don't show on the comments page, the comments do appear in my e-mail, so you are getting through to me. Until I'm sure this is corrected, I will reply to comments.
Meanwhile, however, I have to figure out how to get symbols, like dashes and apostrophes, to translate as symbols instead of code. Bear with me; it's something new to learn.
There's nothing like an anniversary to demonstrate how time is flying. It is four years since I first posted a story about my son. If you have not read it, you might like to do so now. It's more interesting than today's post; I m not sure I have the capacity to write it again.
Once again, it is Son's birthday, but I can't think of a thing to give him. This is the year he gets a far greater gift than I could possibly purchase. I guess his fiancee, Miss P., receives a fairly nice gift too.
We are all full of wedding plans here, even when we think we re doing something else. Writing a post is far more difficult.
