See? It's Not Complicated

This is just a quick nod to something on our op-ed page today. As I had suspected, it’s a week old, and I had to hunt for a link. This is truly worth reading.

Maybe you remember a post I did some years ago, called Don’t Make It Complicated. Cokie Roberts and Steve Roberts — a fairly conservative married couple — have written a column about family values within gay marriages that mirrors a lot of the same opinions, but says it better. (Their experience is a lot broader than mine.)

It really should be a non-issue. Why can’t we stop speculating about what people are doing in their own homes and concentrate our energies on some of the world’s real problems?
